This traditional hand-crafted MUSHROOM Russian Piroshki is popular for breakfasts and a light snack - or as a starter to your main course.
A Russian savoury, much like a potato cake but with a filling. This one has mushrooms, lightly seasoned with salt and pepper - also gluten-free and VEGAN
We now supply it frozen. You can bake from frozen in 25 minutes.
Or after defrosting, it is one of popular favorites with our customers because it is so easy to prepare. Quickest way warm up is to dry fry, some even microwave for 20-30 seconds. Others even eat it as it is - with a touch of mustard on it.
The Russians like sour cream freshly chopped chives on it. Me? With the frying pan there I add the potato cake and crack open an egg. By the time this piroshki is ready so is my fried egg and I pop it on top and enjoy for breakfast
